Contacts you've already saved are marked as seen, so revisiting a site never fills your list with the same values twice.

Fetching remote favicons would tell each site you're looking at your saved contacts, so it's opt-in rather than on.

That's the point of it. Prospekt reads page text, so it works anywhere text renders — company sites, directories, speaker lists, forums, job boards, internal tools. It has no notion of "supported sites".
No. There's no account, no sync and no server to send anything to. Everything sits in your browser's local storage until you export or delete it.
Contacts turn up on arbitrary sites, so the extension can't know in advance which hosts you'll need. It only reads pages you actively open, and you can exclude any domain from the skip list in Settings.

Collecting publicly posted information is generally permitted, but what you then do with it is regulated in most places — GDPR, PECR, CAN-SPAM and local equivalents all apply to outreach. Prospekt doesn't send anything on your behalf; how you use what you collect is your responsibility.
